Bill Cooper Sells Johnny Depp’s Penthouse

Bill Cooper has sold Johnny Depp’s largest Penthouse at the historic Eastern Columbia Lofts in Downtown Los Angeles. This sale represents the highest priced home in the Eastern Columbia Building and in the Historic Core of DTLA.

The Eastern Columbia is a thirteen-story Claud Beelman designed Art Deco building located at 849 S. Broadway in the Broadway Theater District of Downtown Los Angeles. It was designated a Los Angeles Historic Cultural Monument in 1985. The building is widely considered the greatest surviving example of Art Deco architecture in the city. It is one of the city’s most photographed structures and a world-renowned Art Deco landmark.It has been characterized as the “benchmark of deco buildings in LA”.

Johnny Depp purchased 5 penthouses after the lofts went on sale in 2007. He is currently selling all five of them.
